Play your slideshow on a TV
Your slideshow plays in any modern web browser. To show it on a TV at your event, pick the option below that matches your setup. If you have a laptop and an HDMI cable, the bottom option always works.
Before you start
- Sign in to your account on a laptop or phone, find your slideshow, and tap Share to make sure photos can be added.
- Tap Play in the editor — the slideshow URL looks like
we-make-memories.com/slideshow/abc123/play. - Pick the device guide below that matches the TV/streaming device you'll use at the event. Practice the steps before the day-of.
- On your Fire Stick remote, press the Home button.
- Search for and install "Silk Browser" if it isn't already installed (it's free).
- Open Silk Browser.
- Type the slideshow URL into the address bar — your slideshow link is shown when you tap Play in the editor (looks like https://we-make-memories.com/slideshow/abc123/play).
- Sign in with your account when prompted.
- Tap Play, then "Start Slideshow." The page goes fullscreen automatically.
Tips
- The first time you open Silk Browser it may ask you to accept its terms — that's a one-time step.
- Use the Fire Stick remote's Select button to act as a click on links.
